Role and key persons:

ESR12 will be principally supervised by Professor Ricardo Boavida Ferreira and hosted by Instituto Superior de Agronomia (50%) and ScreenWood, Lda. (50%).

Research facilities, infrastructure and equipment:

The Disease and Stress Biology (D&SB) group, headed by Professor Ricardo Boavida Ferreira, Dr. Cláudia Nunes dos Santos and Dr. Sara Monteiro, operates at ISAULISBOA, at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica (New University of Lisbon) and at CEV/CONVERDE, SA (a start-up company). A wide range of equipments are therefore available, not only at the institutions which host the D&SB group, but also at the large number of both national and international groups with which the group holds permanent and long-term research collaborations.
